The Big Powderhorn Ski Patrol Reserve Corps consists of qualified patrollers from other areas willing to help out and sign on to patrol Big Powderhorn Mountain in times of coverage need.
By signing up for the Reserve Corps, you will receive notifications and have access to a calendar of dates when we are in special need of patrol coverage, including high demand times when MEMBERS OF THE PATROL RESERVE CORPS may be eligible for additional incentives to patrol with us.
Additionally, approved members of the Reserve Corps will have an easy and fast way to sign on and patrol with us – by submitting your OEC and CPR cards each season in advance, you will not need to provide copies to the Crew Chief upon arrival, just sign in, take a radio – and ski!
minimum requirements to JOIN THE BIG POWDERHORN PATROL RESERVE CORPS are:
Primary, active Alpine membership with another National Ski Patrol unit (in good standing)
Current Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers credential
Signing on to patrol with us is a privilege and at the discretion of the Patrol Director and Big Powderhorn management.
